Our History
DREXEL GROUP was founded by Anthony Drexel S., born in Mexico City in 1936 to German-Austrian parents. In 1955, he established his first company, introducing one of the first diesel injector balancing and testing systems in Mexico to support the growing trucking industry.
As the company expanded, its capabilities evolved to include services for heavy machinery, off-road equipment, and power generation plants, building a strong reputation for technical expertise and reliability.
Years later, DP Marine Service was established as an international company based in Mexico, working alongside a global network of specialized partners to provide field and workshop services for the maritime and power generation industries, both onshore and offshore.
Today, the company has become a comprehensive service provider for diesel engines and propulsion systems, combining advanced equipment, modern technology, and highly skilled personnel to repair, recover, and refurbish engines and critical components that would otherwise require replacement.
